TM Sesh Collective is a project initiated and curated by Timișoara-based drummer Radu Pieloiu.
Representing a series of jazz and improvisation sessions, TM Sesh started naturally and organically, at the initiative of drummer Radu Pieloiu, precisely because of an acute lack of such events at the local level, but also because of the lack of suitable venues that would be suitable for and promote such events, where young musicians have the opportunity to share the stage with renowned musicians, thus organically creating a bridge for possible future collaborations.
The main objective of this project is to revitalize the local community of musicians, with the help of national and international artists, around the jazz and improvised music "scene," which is currently not very active locally in Timișoara, in an attempt to create a self-sustaining movement that could boost, influence, and relaunch the jazz and improvised music scene at the local level.
