DrvoTruo began as a "one-night stand" acoustic duo but has happily evolved into a trio, delighting
audiences for over 15 years! The name DrvoTruo belongs to three talented musicians from Kikinda—Jovan Bajkin, Srdjan Stojanović, and Aleksandar Lipovan. They have performed at more than 500 live shows, each highlighting their unique interpretations and stories. Their music has filled the streets of Berlin and traveled to places like Switzerland, Slovakia, Romania, the former Yugoslav republics, and of course, Serbia.

In August 2011, the debut album "Reproduction" was launched, presenting an engaging summary of its
unique cover concept. This remarkable album comprises 10 acoustic covers, each retaining its original arrangement, and beautifully capturing the essence of the music.

In 2012, invited by the National Theater of Kikinda, DrvoTruo composed music for Marc Chamoletti's
charming theater production “Pajamas for Six," directed by Olja Djordjevic. This project included four
acoustic arrangements of well-known hits from the 1980s, infusing the production with a nostalgic and
vibrant atmosphere.

Since 2019, the band has fully committed to original work, and in August of that year, they recorded their
debut album, produced by the skilled Ognjen Cvekić. This album includes seven engaging songs unified by a common theme: drvo truo. The music and lyrics are developed by the inventive members of DrvoTruo
(Bajkin, Lipovan, Stojanović), with one song featuring lyrics by Igor Grandić.

The same team recorded two new songs, "Svih ovih dana" and "Svemir," in April 2021.

The single "Banana žeton" came out in October 2022 February 2023: The single "Vacuum" came out.
During concert seasons, the band has presented its original songs at several music festivals and venues: Niš (Nišville Jazz Fest), Novi Sad (KC Lab and Gradić Fest, Wine Garden), Subotica (Club Mladost and Club
Dvorište), Kikinda (Festival of Teraviva and Mokrin House), and at the Embargo Festival in Romania. As the band approaches 2025, it boasts a renewed lineup. In addition to founder Jovan Bajkin (vocals, guitar) and Aleksandar Lipovan Shanyiika (guitars, backing vocals), the group features talented young musicians: Matija Evetović (trombone and keyboard), Aleksandar Romek (bass guitar), and Mario Bošnjak (drums)
