Răzvan Munteanu graduated from the Faculty of Theater and Music in Timișoara and began his musical career 15 years ago as the vocalist for The Weekend Band. Throughout his artistic career, he has performed with several local bands. With his latest musical project, The Bandits, Răzvan participated as a vocalist in the theater show EXOD, staged by the National Theater in Timișoara. The Bandits was thus nominated at the Uniter Awards Gala for best theater music.
Banat Rave is a new musical project that Răzvan conceived with the electronic music of his adolescence in mind. The project represents an incursion into the history of electronic music and oscillates between techno, trance, electro-pop, and house, respecting the original sound. The tracks are chosen based on their impact on the international music scene and their tempo or groove. The Banat Rave set includes well-known tracks by artists such as Donna Summer, Depeche Mode, Faithless, Daft Punk, Schiller, Wonderland Avenue, Azzido da Bass, Darude, The Prodigy, Modjo, Benny Benassi, Tomcraft, Apolo 440, Suie Paparude, and Subcarpati.
