You are invited to the first stage of the A!BUZZ project - an artistic and social endeavor dedicated to raising awareness of abuse and opening spaces for honest and safe dialog. The project is realized by a team of young graduates of the Faculty of Theatre and Film in Cluj-Napoca - Clara Angela Roman, Andrei Mărgineanu, Sîrbu Alexandru and Iriana Cuconu - who aim to create a bridge between the arts, reflection and the real experiences of young people.
On August 1, from 17:00, at Casa Tineretului Timisoara, you can watch the Romanian film Mo (2019), a story about the abuse of power in academia. After the screening, you will have the opportunity to take part in a special discussion with psychotherapist Anca Țiurean - a meeting designed as a workshop for processing, introspection and sharing, for those who feel like telling their story.
The break between screening and conversation is designed for respite and connection - we offer coffee and snacks in a relaxed setting. In addition, you will receive a QR code that will take you to an anonymous form where you can answer questions about your own experiences of bullying or abuse. The answers, which are completely confidential, will form the documentary basis for the second phase of the project: a show created by students from the Faculty of Theatre in Timisoara, which will premiere in October.
Step forward to be part of a community that chooses to listen, share and transform personal experiences into art and healing. Let's go through this process together.
