Muzicon Hub is joining the Timișoara City Celebration 2026 program with three days of concerts bringing together artists and musical projects from a variety of genres, ranging from live electronic music and audiovisual performances to world music, ambient, melodic techno, and contemporary sound experiments.

Muzicon Hub is an organization dedicated to developing and supporting Romania’s alternative music scene. Its activities include developing a hub for musicians and others, featuring rehearsal spaces and recording and production studios for the local music community; organizing showcase events that bring the public together with independent artists; and hosting creative camps that bring together musicians, visual artists, and video creators. The program prepared for Timișoara City Celebrationreflects this mission and brings together artists from Romania, the Republic of Moldova, and Spain, who will offer the public the opportunity to discover projects with distinct artistic identities and diverse musical approaches.

Over the course of three days, the audience will have the opportunity to discover projects such as SoundsOfOm, which blends traditional instruments with contemporary electronic elements; Doctorul Sinteză, one of the experimental audiovisual projects developed in Timișoara; and Cosmos în Buzunar, a project from the Republic of Moldova that explores the boundaries between electronic music, alternative rock, and ambient music. The artistic selection proposed by Muzicon Hub reflects the directions the organization has pursued in recent years through showcase concerts, creative camps, and projects dedicated to the community of independent musicians, all of which contribute to strengthening a diverse alternative scene connected to the contemporary cultural context.

Between July 31 and August 3, 2026, Timișoara City Celebration transforms the city into a grand celebration of community, culture, and urban experiences. The theme of this year’s edition is “Diversity,” and the central message— “One city. A thousand ways to experience it. Diversity.”—invites the public to discover Timișoara through different perspectives, communities, and experiences. In this context, the event continues to serve as a platform dedicated to promoting major festivals and cultural organizations that contribute to the city’s creative identity. Admission to all events in the program is free.

The “Timișoara City Celebration” event is funded by the City of Timișoara and coordinated and co-organized by the Center for Projects and the House of Culture.
