The Strizzers is an alternative rock band formed in 2022 in Bucharest. The five members have developed a specific sound, namely urban rock, their music finding inspiration in the daily hustle and bustle of Bucharest.
In their first year of activity, they performed concerts in several venues in Bucharest (Echoes Haus, The Pub, True Club, etc.), as well as in other cities in Romania. During this period, they also did multiple interviews, articles, and other activities, all culminating in the release of their first album, Some Kind of Hero, in November 2023. This material contains the story of their experiences and emotions in Bucharest, set to the rhythm of alternative rock.
The songs explore a wide range of feelings and experiences, from hope and enthusiasm to love and disappointment, anger, rebellion, experienced one after the other, and then taken from
the beginning. The year 2024 brought a series of challenges, including the replacement of two members from the band's original lineup. Nevertheless, they managed to organize a Romanian-Bulgarian tour with the band People of Maha from Bulgaria, which consisted of a series of six concerts, three in each country.
Over time, they managed to check off festivals such as Evergreen Fest (Giurgiu), and shared the stage with bands such as Scarlet Aura, Anton, Wildchild, Marsquake, Claiming Apollo, Trupa Lunatic, and many others.
