Embargo Hub returns for Timișoara City Celebration with live music, DJ sets, and a puppet-making workshop for children

The Embargo Cultural Association is joining the Timișoara City Celebration 2026 program with three days of concerts, DJ sets, and activities for children, all under the motto “Back to the Roots”.

The lineup for the Embargo Fest stage in I.C. Brătianu Park features bands from Romania and Serbia, alongside local DJs. The lineup includes four live concerts by Aman Zaman and Radnicka Klasa from Serbia, as well as the Timișoara-based bands Acelsius and Abyss. The musical program is rounded out by sets from artists Fabiano, Midiportal, and Zoleevee.

On all three days, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., children are invited to a theater puppet-making workshop led by set designer Marina Nicolici.

The Embargo Cultural Association was founded in 2018 and develops projects focused on cultural and artistic activities and the promotion of national minorities. The organization’s portfolio includes seven editions of Embargo Fest, three editions of Embargo Hub, the “PofTim Cultură” documentary film series, the “Time to Rock 2026” TV show, and the Music Hub TM recording and production studio.

The Embargo Fest program takes place from July 31 to August 2 in I.C. Brătianu Park. Admission is free.

Between July 31 and August 3, 2026, Timișoara City Celebration transforms the city into a grand celebration of community, culture, and urban experiences. The central message— “One city. A thousand ways to experience it.” — invites the public to discover Timișoara through different perspectives, communities, and experiences. Admission to the events on the program is free.
